The ‘Bright Man’ Turns 63: Dr. Yogesh Lakhani’s Birthday Meets a Sacred Coincidence

Some birthdays feel like more than just another year — they feel timed. For Dr. Yogesh Lakhani, founder of Bright Hoardings, turning 63 on September 25, 2026, arrives on the same day as Anant Chaturdashi, making it an especially meaningful milestone for the man known across India’s advertising industry as the “Bright Man.”

Born in 1963 during Navratri, Lakhani has long credited his life’s direction to spiritual timing — a theme that runs through both his personal journey and his business legacy.

Bright Man: Overview

A devout follower of Lord Ganesha, Lakhani marked this year’s Ganeshotsav with visits to some of Mumbai’s most revered pandals, including GSB Ganpati in Wadala and Lalbaug’s Chintamani. “When I was born… it was also an auspicious occasion during Navratri,” he shared, reflecting on how his family deity, Maa Durga, has guided him throughout his life.

Beyond faith, Lakhani’s entrepreneurial footprint is equally striking. Under his leadership, Bright Hoardings became the first company in its sector to list on the Bombay Stock Exchange in 2023, and it’s now preparing for a move to the National Stock Exchange Main Board — a step that would let small retail investors buy shares in quantities as low as one or two.

His year has also been marked by pilgrimages across India — from the Jyotirlingas of Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar to Jagannath Puri and Kamakhya Temple — alongside family trips to Mahabaleshwar, Darjeeling, and Aamby Valley with his wife Jagruti and son Anugrah.

Through the Bright Sahyog Seva Trust, Lakhani continues supporting healthcare, education, and food-grain distribution initiatives, extending his birthday goodwill to old-age homes and orphanages this year as well.

His story reflects a broader tradition in India where festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi intertwine deeply with personal and business milestones.
