Naga Chaitanya is coming with a power-pack action film named Thandel. The upcoming project is ready to kick off the shooting as the makers have finally spilled the poster of the character along with the film title. The title of the film has been named as Naga Chaitanya’s character. The makers unlocked the first-look poster and shared it by depicting Chaitanya sitting in a rugged boat amidst stormy weather. He is holding a row and dressed up in a simple brown vest and pants.
Plot
The story of the film revolves around real-life events, a story of a leader who was born to ride against the tide and time to save his people. As per the new poster, we will say that it has suggested Naga is playing the role of a leader of the fisherman community. The term ‘Thandel’ or ‘Tandel’ symbolizes a boatman. Naga Chaitanya will appear as a boatman in this film who used to fish for his livelihood. As per requirement, Chandoo Mondeti and Naga Chaitanya visited the K Matchilesam village in Srikakulam for the preparation, communicating with the local fishermen to truly acknowledge their lifestyle and culture.

Earlier, Naga Chaitanya opened up about his excitement on hearing the script and said that the preparations for the movie also helped him to adopt the lifestyle, body language, and mentality of that fisherman and also realize the essence of the village.
Thandel: Cast
The film has been helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, we are going to witness the actor-director duo for the third time after ‘Premam’ released in 2016, and Savyasachi in 2018. The filmmakers also spill Sai Pallavi as the female lead along with Naga Chaitanya marking the second collaboration after the film ‘Love Story’ released in 2021. However, Thadel will be the 23rd film of Naga Chaitanya. The movie has been produced by Bunny Vasu under Getha Arts banner just under Allu Arvind’s production. Devi Sri Prasad is taking care of the music for this film.
Thandel: Release date
The filmmaker has not confirmed the official release date of the film. After this film, Naga Chaitanya will debut in a shorter format named ‘Dhootha’. This is marked as a supernatural horror story that will release on December 1, 2023.
