Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd, a subsidiary of the Adventz Group, has announced its entry into the AI-led global services and digital solutions sector with the launch of a network of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) under the brand name ‘Invariz’. The initiative leverages the ServiceNow platform for its operational framework.

The company soft-launched its inaugural centre in Faridabad late last year and plans to scale operations to additional locations. This expansion is projected to create over 1,200 direct jobs and contribute more than $100 million in incremental revenue by 2030, establishing a new growth avenue alongside its established railway and infrastructure businesses.

Texmaco Rail: Strategic Diversification and Technology Integration

This development represents a strategic shift for the 86-year-old engineering firm, as it integrates AI-driven platforms into its operations and expands into high-value digital services. The Invariz GCCs will utilize ServiceNow’s AI-powered workflow platform to deliver automation-led enterprise solutions, targeting both domestic and international clients across various sectors.

Sudipta Mukherjee, Managing Director of Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd, stated that the initiative holds potential for future growth and the formation of new global alliances. He indicated that the GCCs would serve as a “digital front end” for the company, offering comprehensive solutions particularly in the railway sector and beyond. He added that leveraging ServiceNow’s platform is expected to unlock new revenue streams and enhance the company’s positioning in global markets.

Innovation, Talent Development, and Market Impact

Texmaco positions the GCC platform as a hub for innovation, digital talent development, and AI-led transformation, aiming to support multi-industry use cases and reinforce India’s role as a global GCC destination. Initially, the network will support group companies, with plans to expand services to external clients, thereby enabling a scalable global delivery model. This is anticipated to improve operational efficiency, enhance asset utilization, and create a diversified services portfolio aligned with contemporary global GCC trends.

Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj, Group CDO driving the Invariz GCC, emphasized the objective of building a scalable, innovation-led GCC ecosystem. He noted that by combining AI capabilities with global best practices, the aim is to deliver agile, high-impact solutions while fostering a skilled digital talent pool.

Texmaco expects the Invariz initiative to contribute 10-15% to its overall growth strategy over the medium term, complementing its core manufacturing and infrastructure operations. This move positions the company among early Indian engineering firms to scale AI-enabled global services, aligning with the evolving global enterprise services landscape.
