The Season So Far

“Ted Lasso” returned on August 5, 2026, more than three years after Season 3, with Jason Sudeikis back as Ted — this time coaching the AFC Richmond Lady Greyhounds, a second-division women’s team sharing cramped facilities and a smaller budget with the men’s side. The premiere set a record as the most-viewed season opener in Apple TV history, and the show currently holds a 90% “fresh” score on Rotten Tomatoes across its first three episodes.

What’s Coming In Episode 4

According to Rotten Tomatoes’ official synopsis, the coaching staff will need to work through team cliques forming within the Lady Greyhounds squad, while Ted continues adjusting to life away from the locker room. Given the show’s track record of blending workplace friction with genuine emotional stakes, expect this episode to dig into the tension between Ted’s old-school optimism and a team that expects real explanations, not just pep talks.
