Tecno is making efforts to establish its presence in the global smartphone market, including India. The brand recently introduced the Tecno Phantom V Fold, which is India’s most affordable foldable smartphone. Additionally, Tecno launched several smartphones as part of the Camon 20 series in international markets.
This series includes the Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premier 5G. Tecno has announced that it will be launching the Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G smartphones in India on May 27.

The Tecno Camon 20 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, manufactured using a 12nm process. The chipset is combined with a generous 8GB of RAM and a capacious 256GB of internal storage. Tecno also provides an option for virtual memory expansion, allowing the RAM to be expanded up to 8GB.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Tecno Camon 20 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, accompanied by an integrated LED flash with a ring design. The camera configuration comprises a leading 64-megapixel main sensor, a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an additional QVGA camera. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera housed in a centered punch-hole cutout, which is supported by dual LED flash. The smartphone is powered by a large 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
On the other hand, the higher-end Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G features a similar 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, but with an upgraded 120Hz refresh rate compared to the standard Camon 20. Both smartphones also incorporate an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Camon 20 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, manufactured using a 6nm process.
Similar to the regular Camon 20, the Pro variant also comes with 8GB of RAM, which supports virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB, and 256GB of storage. In terms of camera setup, the Pro variant features a triple rear camera system with an integrated LED flash. This setup consists of a primary 64MP sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Pro variant shares the same 32MP front camera with dual LED flash. The primary difference lies in the design, where the Pro variant showcases a textured leather rear panel with a water-resistant ceramic panel. The Camon 20 Pro 5G is equipped with a large 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
