A ₹8K Phone That Actually Delivers

At this price, a 120Hz display alone would be enough to turn heads — but TECNO went further. The No Network Communication 2.0 feature enables direct device-to-device connectivity up to 1.5 km without a signal, a genuinely useful feature for students and outdoor users.

Add IP64 dust and splash resistance, drop-ready build, and a promise of lag-free performance for 4 years, and the POP X starts looking like a seriously smart buy in the budget segment. For more budget smartphone comparisons, check TechnoSports’ smartphone coverage.

Ella AI Built for India

The standout software feature is Ella AI — TECNO’s homegrown assistant supporting five regional Indian languages natively. It powers AI Flash Snap for instant sharp captures, AIGC Portrait 2.0 for model-quality portraits, real-time song identification, and AI image generation — all on an ₹8K device.
