Tech Mahindra and Jaipur Literature Festival Award Scope and Selection Process
Open to both Indian and international authors, the award will consider books that make substantial contributions to the global understanding of India across various genres. Eligible categories include fiction, non-fiction, history, biography, business, science, culture, and public affairs. Submissions must be published in English during the calendar year preceding the award.
An independent jury will oversee the selection process, evaluating works based on literary excellence, their contribution to understanding India, global relevance and resonance, originality, and overall cultural and intellectual impact.
Mohit Joshi, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra, emphasized the importance of literature in clarifying complex ideas. “As technology advances, the ability to communicate intricate concepts clearly becomes paramount.
