Netflix UK Goes Big: The Gentlemen Season 3, Black Mirror Season 8, Supacell, Black Doves & More Officially Confirmed

Netflix UK has just dropped one of its biggest announcements in recent memory. Netflix has confirmed the return of a host of popular UK series, with new seasons of The Gentlemen, House of Guinness, Black Mirror, Supacell, Black Doves and Love Is Blind: UK among the shows heading back to the platform. The sweeping renewal wave also includes Legends, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, At Home With The Furys, Being Gordon Ramsay and The Rest Is Football — making this one of the most loaded UK slates Netflix has put forward in a single announcement.

The Gentlemen — Season 3

The headline renewal of the entire announcement. The Gentlemen has already been commissioned for a third season before its second even arrives on 3rd September. Guy Ritchie will return as director, writer and executive producer, while the newly released trailer for Season 2 sees Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Vinnie Jones and Giancarlo Esposito back in the criminal underworld, joined by new faces including Hugh Bonneville, Benedetta Porcaroli and Maya Jama.

Guy Ritchie said: “The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”

Black Mirror — Season 8

Charlie Brooker’s critically acclaimed Black Mirror started production on Season 8 this summer. A launch date is yet to be confirmed.

Supacell — Season 2

Rapman’s BAFTA award-winning Supacell, about a group of five ordinary people who unexpectedly develop superpowers, has just wrapped on Season 2. A launch date is yet to be confirmed. Tosin Cole, Nadine Mills, Eric Kofi Abrefa, Calvin Demba, Josh Tedeku, Giacomo Mancini, Sian Brooke and Eddie Marsan are listed in the cast. Rapman returns as writer and creator and will direct alongside Koby Adom.

Black Doves — Season 2

Joe Barton’s British spy thriller starring Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw, Sarah Lancashire and Ambika Mod is set to return later this year. Notably, Neve Campbell is joining the cast for the new run.

House of Guinness — Season 2

House of Guinness will return for Season 2, with Netflix confirming another six 60-minute episodes of Steven Knight’s 19th-century drama. Fans of the period drama can expect more from the brewing dynasty, with a six-part second season due to begin filming in early 2027. Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, James Norton, Jack Gleeson and the rest of the ensemble are set to return as the story of the Guinness family continues.

Legends — Season 2

‘Legends,’ Neil Forsyth’s undercover customs thriller starring Steve Coogan, has been renewed for a second season that will push the story further into the late 1990s, with production scheduled to begin in 2027.

Being Gordon Ramsay — Season 2

Being Gordon Ramsay is confirmed for Season 2, giving fans more of the chef’s blend of cooking and personal storytelling.

The Rest Is Football — Back for 2026/27

Netflix is continuing The Rest Is Football for the 2026/27 Premier League season, with Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards returning for episodes every Monday and Friday, plus a new Netflix-exclusive Sunday evening show looking back at the biggest story of the weekend.
