Gautam Adani’s Adani Group is all set to enter the digital business arena. The Adani Group is gearing up to make a big step into the digital business. As a start, the company aims to launch an app called ‘Super App’ that brings many services under one roof. Adani Digital Labs has launched a new division company to build a digital business.
About 80 employees are initially working in digital labs. Chairman Gautam Adani held discussions with them yesterday. According to reports, he has called on employees to build the Ferrari of the digital world. The aim is to design an app that meets the different needs of all Indians. The company has come up with a single app that allows you to send money, book a taxi and order food.
A super app is a unified platform or application that allows users to access several services in one place. The Adani Group patriarch said that the group has a mix of 400 million end-consumers that use the group’s products or services across its businesses spanning airports, gas, realty, electricity, financial services, and consumer products.
In the first phase, the company plans to bring the services and products of Adani Group companies under one umbrella. Digital Labs is gearing up for a massive recruitment drive. Nitin Sethi was recently appointed as the Group’s Chief Digital Officer. Gautam Adani’s nephew Sagar Adani and Gautam Adani’s son Jeet Adani are leading the digital business.
He also emphasized that Adani Digital Labs has the potential to become the biggest business that the group has built to date and be a crucial part of the group’s Trillion-Dollar valuation ambition.
