Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Release Date Postponed: Here’s What We Know

The much-awaited romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor has undergone a major schedule shift. Initially set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025, the film’s release has now been postponed to September 12, 2025.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, this delay has sparked curiosity among fans eager to see the Bawaal pair reunite on the silver screen.

Why the Change in Release Date?

Speculation about the delay had been circulating for a while, but now the makers have officially confirmed it. According to reports, the decision was made to enhance the film’s entertainment quotient by incorporating additional scenes and sequences.

A source close to the production revealed that Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan decided to add more grandeur to the movie, particularly in its wedding-themed sequences. The decision led to an extended shoot schedule, ensuring the film delivers a visually stunning experience.

New Additions: More Music, More Fun

Along with reshoots, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will also feature two new songs, further amplifying the film’s appeal. Given Dharma Productions’ history of delivering hit soundtracks, expectations are high for these new additions.

Johar is reportedly focused on making 2025 a landmark year for Bollywood rom-coms. Alongside Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, he is also backing Tu Meri Main Tera Main Teri Tu Mera, both of which are expected to bring back the charm of traditional Bollywood romance.
