Some idols celebrate birthdays with lavish parties. Felix chose to spend his marking a quiet, meaningful gesture instead — turning his special day into support for children he’ll likely never meet.

On September 15, the Stray Kids member donated a combined 300 million won (roughly $222,000) across four organizations, each addressing a different kind of need faced by vulnerable children around the world.

Where Stray Kids Donation Is Going?

Organization	Amount	Purpose
Samsung Medical Center	100 million won (~$74,000)	Medical costs for children and adolescents with cancer
Seoul National University Children’s Hospital	100 million won (~$74,000)	Support for children from vulnerable backgrounds
Books International	50 million won (~$37,000)	Native-language picture books for cultural education
UNICEF Korea	50 million won (~$37,000)	Flood relief efforts in Nepal

Felix shared the sentiment behind the gesture simply, expressing hope that children’s days could be filled with clarity and hope rather than worry, and that the donation could offer a small but genuine source of strength.

A Pattern of Consistent Giving

This isn’t a one-time gesture for Felix. He’s donated through UNICEF and World Vision on his birthday in both 2024 and 2025, and has previously joined fellow Stray Kids members in contributing to wildfire recovery efforts in South Korea and fire relief in Hong Kong. It’s part of a broader, quieter pattern many K-pop idols follow — using personal milestones as moments to give rather than simply celebrate.
