Stephen Kalyn is going from the hockey rink to the courtroom. The rising star has officially signed on to one of Hollywood’s most anticipated sequels. Off Campus star Stephen Kalyn has officially joined the upcoming Housemaid sequel The Housemaid’s Secret, and is slated to play the role of Brock. Lionsgate announced the casting news in a video shared to Instagram on Monday.
What Is The Housemaid’s Secret About?
The Housemaid’s Secret is based on the second book in the trilogy by McFadden. It is the direct sequel to the 2025 film The Housemaid, directed by Paul Feig.
In The Housemaid’s Secret, Millie returns, taking a job keeping house for a woman she’s never allowed to see, only to discover the truth behind the locked door that threatens to expose secrets far darker than her own.

Who Is Stephen Kalyn Playing?
He will play the role of Brock Cunningham, a lawyer who is in a relationship with Sydney Sweeney’s character, Millie Calloway. The role places Kalyn at the very centre of the story — as a man who knows nothing about the dark world his girlfriend is entangled in, making him one of the most intriguing new additions to the franchise.
Stephen Kalyn: A Star on the Rise
Still a relative newcomer, Kalyn has found great success lately, appearing in multiple episodes of both Gen V and Off Campus, as well as opening the horror film Whistle with a scream.
Kalyn, whose resume also includes roles on Gen V, Cruel Intentions, and Motorheads, will play Brock, Millie’s lawyer boyfriend who knows nothing about her criminal past.
The project marks a major booking for Kalyn, who is already set to take center ice for Season 2 of Off Campus as his Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes (played by Mika Abdalla) become the college soap’s central couple.

Off Campus: What You Need to Know
The show’s next installment will adapt the plot of Kennedy’s third novel in the Off Campus series, The Score. It centers on lovable party boy turned certified lover boy Dean Di Laurentis (Kalyn) and aspiring actress and the ultimate best friend Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla). Both Kalyn and Abdalla’s characters were fan favorites during the Season 1 run.
