STELLAR’s Minhee Is Getting Married — And She Picked The Perfect Way To Share It

Some announcements don’t need a big production. On September 2, STELLAR’s Minhee quietly turned to social media with a set of gorgeous wedding photos and a wedding date that’s coming up fast — September 12.

Minhee, a member of the K-pop group STELLAR, had already announced her engagement earlier this year, so this felt less like a surprise and more like the natural next chapter. In her handwritten note to fans, she described meeting someone who puts her at ease and makes her laugh more than anyone, and said she’s ready to spend her life with him. She also admitted feeling a little shy sharing something this personal after being away from the spotlight for a while — but was clearly moved by the outpouring of support already coming in.

STELLAR: Key Details

A Simple, Heartfelt Message

What stands out isn’t just the news — it’s how she delivered it. Minhee acknowledged that some fans might have already caught wind of the wedding through media reports, but she wanted to share it in her own words rather than let it circulate secondhand. She also left the door open for anyone she hasn’t personally reached out to, encouraging them to message her directly instead of feeling left out.

It’s a small gesture, but one that fits the tone of the announcement itself: warm, unhurried, and clearly personal rather than a PR-timed reveal.
