The upcoming open-world Star Wars adventure, Star Wars Outlaws, has unveiled its PC system requirements, and the results are surprisingly accessible for a modern AAA title.

While the game promises stunning visuals and immersive gameplay, players won’t need to break the bank to experience the galaxy far, far away.

Accessible for the Masses

For those looking to enjoy the game at 1080p resolution with a steady 30 frames per second, the minimum requirements are remarkably modest. A mid-range GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD RX 5600XT, paired with a CPU from the Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K generation, is sufficient to embark on Kay Vess’s thrilling journey.

This means that a significant portion of PC gamers can dive into the world of Star Wars Outlaws without requiring a major hardware upgrade.

High-End Systems for Ultimate Immersion

Of course, for those seeking the ultimate visual fidelity and performance, Star Wars Outlaws offers higher presets with correspondingly demanding specifications. Achieving 4K resolution at a smooth 60 frames per second with maximum graphical settings requires hardware muscle in the form of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU.

These are undoubtedly high-end cards, but it’s worth noting that such demanding specifications are becoming increasingly common for top-tier gaming experiences.

Breaking Down the Requirements

To provide a clearer picture of the system requirements, let’s delve into the specifics. For the minimum requirements, you’ll need Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit), an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K processor, and graphics capabilities provided by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, AMD RX 5600XT, or Intel Arc A750. Additionally, 16 GB of RAM, 65 GB of SSD storage, and a resolution of 1080p at 30 FPS on low settings are necessary.

The recommended setup also requires Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit) with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-10400 processor, alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card.

This configuration supports 1080p at 60 FPS on high settings. For high performance, the system should include Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit), an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or Intel Core i5-11600K processor, and either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080/4070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card. This setup will handle 1440p at 60 FPS on high settings.

Lastly, the ultra requirements call for Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit), an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D or Intel Core i7-12700K processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card, supporting 2160p at 60 FPS on ultra settings. Each tier also demands 16 GB of RAM and 65 GB of SSD storage

A Balanced Approach

Star Wars Outlaws seems to achieve an admirable balance between accessibility and visual quality. While high-end systems will undoubtedly deliver the most immersive experience, players with more modest setups can still enjoy the game without compromising too much.

This inclusive approach is a positive sign for the future of gaming, as it allows a wider audience to experience the magic of the Star Wars universe.

With its release date approaching on August 30th, anticipation for Star Wars Outlaws is high. The game’s accessible system requirements only add to the excitement, promising a thrilling adventure for players of all hardware configurations.
