According to Square Enix, Marvel Avengers has broken all of the previous records and created history on the Play Station platform by becoming one of the most downloaded betas to date.

Last month, the Marvel Avengers beta version was launched in multiple platforms so, that players can enjoy and test the beta before the game releases. The beta version got many positive reviews and players all around the globe loved it. It attracted over 6 million players from all over the world and the gamers spent around 27 million hours in the game. But the game got the most responses and downloads for the Play Station 4 console.

Square Enix congratulated the Marvel Avengers developer Crystal Dynamics for this achievement via a tweet on Twitter. The company called it “a heroic achievement”. Though the company didn’t state any download figures.

On September 1, Marvel revealed a new character called Kate Bishop, the third Hawkeye on their War Table event. The Hero will be featured in the upcoming DLC of the game. Many more heroes are there who will join the game in the future as the data miners suggested.

The game has already been launched on all platforms. The game will be also launched on the upcoming Play Station 5 and Xbox One X when they get released. So, if you haven’t been able to enjoy the beta version of the Marvel Avengers, just buy the game on the platform of your choosing and enjoy it.
