Splitsvilla 16: Did Yogesh’s “Spark” Truly Die After Choosing Ruru Over Akanksha?

The drama inside Splitsvilla 16 doesn’t end when the cameras stop rolling — and a fresh exclusive interview has just blown the lid off one of the season’s most talked-about love triangles.

What Really Happened Between Yogesh, Ruru & Akanksha in Splitsvilla 16?

Contestants Suzzane and Asmita sat down for a candid post-show chat, and Suzzane dropped a bombshell: Yogesh Rawat wasn’t genuinely happy after choosing his ex-girlfriend Ruru Thakur over his in-show connection, Akanksha Choudhary.

Suzzane’s exact words painted a vivid picture — Yogesh’s energy visibly dimmed after Ruru’s wild card entry, which she attributed to guilt over Akanksha and an inability to love Ruru freely.

“Uska Spark Dim Ho Gaya Tha” — Breaking Down Suzzane’s Revelation

According to Suzzane, whenever she’d ask Yogesh if he was genuinely happy, he would start justifying his decision rather than simply saying yes — a telling sign. She believed he chose Ruru partly to protect his image, worried about what Ruru’s family would think if he had sided with Akanksha instead.

To make things spicier, Suzzane revealed that Ruru would often interrupt their conversations, making it difficult for Yogesh to express himself freely. That kind of dynamic — controlling even casual conversations — speaks volumes about the relationship’s foundation.

MTV Splitsvilla, the popular Indian dating reality show, has always thrived on exactly these kinds of complicated love stories, and Season 16 has delivered in full.
