India’s Most-Watched TV Shows Right Now: The Complete Weekly Rundown

Movies aren’t the only thing keeping India glued to screens this week. JustWatch’s Top 10 Streaming Charts for TV shows (Aug 10–16) just landed, and it’s a genre buffet — reality drama, war stories, courtroom-worthy comedy, and one very dysfunctional dragon family, all competing for binge time.

Here’s everything trending, ranked and explained.

The Full Top 10 TV Shows:

A Quick Look at Each Show

1. The Traitors — Amazon’s reality hit brings its mystery-and-betrayal format to India, mixing psychological gameplay with high drama as contestants try to sniff out the “traitors” among them before it’s too late.

2. Erotic Stories — An anthology series leaning into bold, adult storytelling, this one’s built for viewers who want their drama unfiltered and intense.

3. Operation Safed Sagar — A gripping dramatization inspired by real events, this series digs into a lesser-told military operation with the kind of tension and patriotism that keeps war dramas trending.

4. Musafir Cafe — A Netflix original that leans into slice-of-life storytelling, following intertwined lives around a café setting — proof that quiet, character-driven dramas still find an audience.

5. India’s Got Latent — The unfiltered talk-show-meets-talent format continues to dominate conversations, thanks to its raw, no-holds-barred format and viral moments.

6. Reacher — The action thriller based on Lee Child’s novels keeps its spot in the charts, riding on relentless pacing and its larger-than-life lead.

7. House of the Dragon — The “Game of Thrones” prequel continues to pull loyal fantasy fans with its political scheming, dragons, and family betrayal on an epic scale.

8. Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya — A workplace comedy set in a school, this Prime Original leans into everyday chaos and ensemble humor — a lighter watch amid the heavier dramas on this list.

9. Bigg Boss — India’s biggest reality show juggernaut returns for another season, proving once again that house drama and eliminations never go out of style.

10. Off Campus — A youthful sports-and-college drama, following ambition, rivalry, and relationships both on and off the field.

Why These Rankings Matter

Charts from JustWatch pull real viewing and search data across streaming platforms, making them a genuinely useful pulse-check on what Indian audiences are actually choosing — not just what’s being pushed hardest by marketing budgets.

This week’s list is a solid mix: reality TV still rules, but war dramas, workplace comedies, and prestige fantasy are all holding their ground too.
