Netflix’s Splinter Cell has been written by Derek Kolstad who is famous for making the massive hit franchise John Wick which is featured by Keanu Reeves. He also has shown his excitement for working on Splinter Cell in a current interview.

It is still unknown about the plot of the first season but Derek Kolstad has commented that every season will be self-contained, besides the evolution of the main character. He also looks one big, bad, and one overarching tale and also one of the background stories with the A/B of it. And he is looking for everything that he can do mainly in film and TV to be the best Westerns. He just rides off into the sunset as he is now going for the same thing to the next town over until he one this.
Splinter Cell: Animated series tied to the games
This fact is still unknown but after the big success of the games, it is expected a complete plot with some identifiable elements from the games. It is also expected that there will be some of the missions or villains in this series or the locations and also nods to the iconic game mechanics.

Splinter Cell: Development Status
Kolstad recently declared that the first season of the series is currently being written. In his most current interview in March 2021, he just completed the Bible of the first season and also send it to the others. It is also stated that it will also take six months for the writing process.
The first glimpse of the series of Netflix’s Geeked Week got in June 2021. It shows how the animation will come along for the Splinter Cell by releasing the first look at Sam Fisher who is sporting his iconic night vision goggles and also with the blood-soaked coat.
