Next month sees the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for Windows PC, and today developer Insomniac Games released a feature-heavy teaser showcasing the extras PC players can look forward to from a superhero blockbuster that was remastered for PlayStation 5 two years ago.
Nvidia Surround multi-monitor configurations and support for ultra-wide monitors with aspect ratios of 21:9 and 32:9 are among the PC-specific features. If your setup can take them, Spider-Man Remastered will, according to Insomniac, have unlocked frame rates, better shadows, and ray-traced reflections that add even more realism.
For users with GeForce RTX graphics cards, Marvel’s Spider-Man will also feature Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling and Anti-Aliasing (DLSS and DLAA), which improve frame rates and visual quality.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC will include improved graphics, keyboard and mouse controls, and the new PlayStation DualSense controller (for those who have one). Players will have more customization and remapping possibilities with the integration of Steam Input. This matrix of PC requirements for five performance settings, from “minimum” to “Amazing Ray Tracing” and “Ultimate Ray Tracing,” was also published by Insomniac.
Three Spidey costumes, the Spider-Drone combat tool, and five extra skill points to bolster old Webhead are also early unlocks for pre-order customers. The release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on Steam and the Epic Games Store is August 12.
