Spider-Man Brand New Day Trailer Launch — A Marvel First
Sony and Marvel coordinated with fans and influencers to release seconds-long teases from the trailer across 24 hours as the “brand new day” started around the world — something Tom Holland described as something “that has never been done before.” Fox News The campaign kept the internet buzzing for a full day before the complete trailer released on March 18. Smart, electric, and deeply fan-first.
The Biggest Moments from Every Clip
1. The Amazing Fantasy #15 Recreation
The very first clip is Spider-Man swinging through New York to save a person — a slow-motion recreation of the iconic cover of Amazing Fantasy #15, the first ever appearance of Spider-Man. Over it, a single word: “Rebirth.” The tone is immediately darker and more cinematic than any previous Holland Spidey film.
2. A Beaten Peter Parker
Another clip shows Peter Parker in a terrible state, presumably beaten or poisoned by Scorpion, collapsing onto the floor. This Peter isn’t the cheerful, quip-heavy web-slinger fans are used to. He’s broken, anonymous, and fighting for survival.
3. Punisher Hits Spider-Man with a Van
One of the most jaw-dropping clips shows Spider-Man standing in the road, only to be hit by a van — and the driver is revealed as Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. Two of Marvel’s most loved characters colliding on screen for the first time is massive.
4. MJ and Ned Still Don’t Know Him
MJ and Ned are shown watching TV together as Spider-Man receives a key to the city — Peter watching his old best friend from a distance with deep sadness, clearly missing the friendship they once had. rutlandherald
5. Aunt May’s Grave — The Emotional Gut Punch
A clip shows Peter visiting Aunt May’s rain-soaked grave, reinforcing that this film operates under the weight of everything No Way Home left behind. screenrant
6. Scorpion, Tombstone & Explosions
Michael Mando’s Scorpion appears alongside tank fire in the streets — a first official look at what promises to be the film’s most physically dangerous villain arc. IMDb
