What Is Sold Out on You About?

Sold Out on You is a romantic comedy about the unexpected love story between Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo Seop), a perfectionist farmer juggling multiple jobs, and Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), a top home shopping show host who suffers from severe insomnia.

It’s one of the most refreshingly original set-ups in recent K-drama memory — a meticulous mushroom farmer and a glamorous TV host colliding worlds in the most unlikely, heart-fluttering way. Think opposites attract, but make it agriculture meets prime-time television.

Where the Story Is Now — Episode Recap & Preview

Previously on Sold Out on You, Matthew Lee saw a different side of Dam Ye Jin — catching a glimpse of her vulnerability through her sleep disorder and sleepwalking. This shifted something in him, sparking a strange but undeniable sense of connection and concern. On a rainy night while returning her medication, he delivered the most unexpected line: “Let’s see each other every day” — sending viewers’ hearts completely aflutter.

And now things are getting even more interesting. In the upcoming episode, Matthew Lee makes a sudden decision to renew a raw material supply contract with L’Étoile — the very company Dam Ye Jin worked so hard to secure. This hints at a resolution to the long-stalled issues involving white flower nuri mushroom supply and entry into a hit home shopping channel, signalling growing cooperation between the two.

But here’s the twist that has everyone buzzing: Matthew Lee reviews the contract with his characteristic sharp attention to detail and is expected to present an unexpected “special clause” that leaves Dam Ye Jin completely flustered. As strict and precise as he is when tending his mushrooms, viewers are eagerly wondering what his conditions are — and how they will change the relationship between the two.

A contractual romance device in a K-drama? Fans know exactly how delicious this is about to get.
