The smartphone market is constantly inundated with numerous smart devices that have myriad features. One of the comparisons in the air includes Sony Xperia 1 V and iPhone 15 Pro Max. So, here’s the detailed comparison between the Sony Xperia 1 V and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The Sony Xperia 1 V features an OLED display measuring 6.5 inches while the resolution stands at 1644×3840 with 120Hz. The colors remain very sharp and vivid due to the HDR BT.2020 and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a slightly larger LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED of 6.7 inches. The resolution is, however, less than that of Sony Xperia 1 V standing at 1290×2796. While it also offers a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support, its Ceramic Shield glass ensures durability and protection.

Performance

In terms of performance, Sony Xperia 1 V comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and Adreno 740 GPU. It is also available in two versions of internal storage – 256GB and 512GB – and 12GB of RAM. As for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the run is ensured by the more advanced Apple A17 Pro chipset and Apple GPU core graphics. The user may also choose from 256GB or 512GB internal memory or might even opt for 1TB. All of the above is supported by 8GB of RAM, which means the phone’s performance is high and may be controlled effectively.

Camera

The triple-camera system of the Sony Xperia 1 V includes a 48MP wide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens, which provides 3.5x-5.2x continuous optical zoom. The smartphone also has a 12MP ultrawide lens. While the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 48MP wide lens, a 12MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, which is an outstanding characteristic. Additionally, it contains a 12MP ultrawide lens and a TOF 3D LiDAR scanner.

Battery and Charging

The Sony Xperia 1 V is equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging and reverse wireless charging. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max features a slightly smaller 4441mAh battery with support for wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
