The Japan-based tech giant Sony Corporation today announced that it had launched a new project for drones in AI robotics. The usage of drone technology has significantly contributed to the delivery of unseen images. Along with it, the technology also offers workflow efficiency and energy savings in the industrial sector.

For this next-generation task, Sony has assigned the “Airspeak” brand to the further evolvement. The manufacturer will be responsible for the creation of unprecedented value through its imaging and sensing technology. Airpeak’s 3R technologies (Reality, Real-time, and Remote) in the drone area will also be used for Samsung Electronics.

Airspeak reports that it will strive hard to support the video creators’ creativity to the fullest extent possible. It aims to contribute to the further development of the entertainment industry and offer improved efficiency and savings in various sectors. Airspeak will also promote the Samsung drone project to enable drone-use with the highest safety and reliability level. It aims to provide its technology in environments where it has been challenging to implement in the past.

Sony reports that it will continue to post information related to its new project. The company aims to obtain feedback from drone users through co-creation activities to prepare for the project’s launch in the spring of 2021. According to sources, Sony is also planning to seek partners in the professional space to collaborate on the project.
