The Sony Inzone H3, H7, and H9 over-ear headphones, part of Sony’s Inzone line of gaming headsets, were unveiled last year. Now that the gap between H3 and H7 has been filled, the business is prepared to introduce a TWS model to the line.

Games that need quick reaction times can’t take even the best Bluetooth latency, therefore the Sony Inzone headphones are known for having a proprietary, low-latency connection in addition to Bluetooth. All three models, the H3 are wired-only, can also be plugged into a 3.5mm port.

For obvious reasons, the Sony Inzone Buds WF-G700 do without the wired option, but they do retain the dongle—a compact USB-C adapter that fits in its charging case. In order to reduce latency to just 30ms, you may always plug it into your phone, tablet, PC, or gaming console.

In case your phone rings while you’re playing or while you’re not, a Bluetooth connection can also be active simultaneously. In reality, the L1 chip-powered new Bluetooth LE Audio is used by the Sony Inzone Buds.

The dongle-plugged buds and case should operate in low-latency mode for up to 12 hours and last up to 24 hours on Bluetooth. You may put the earbuds in the case for 5 minutes to obtain an hour’s worth of battery life because they also allow rapid charging.

However, for a more immersive experience, these earbuds also enable Active Noise Cancellation which is exclusively available on the Sony Inzone H9, 360 Reality Audio, and 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming. Additionally, the mics have AI-powered noise suppression so that voice communication in-game still sounds clear in busy environments.

A $200 price tag for the Sony Inzone Buds WF-G700 has been seen at a US shop. Despite the fact that there isn’t currently a website for them, they are also appearing on Amazon France. These appear to be comparable to the H7 in that they lack ANC but do offer Bluetooth/2.4GHz wireless connectivity. They weigh substantially less—260g as opposed to 325g and 335g for the H7 and H9—but their battery life is much shorter—28 hours as opposed to 40 hours and 32 hours, respectively, for the H7 and H9 with ANC off.
