“Show Is No. 1”: Sussanne Khan’s Alliance Visit Sparks a Reality TV Rivalry Debate

Sometimes the most talked-about moment on a reality show doesn’t come from a contestant — it comes from a visitor. That’s exactly what happened when Sussanne Khan walked into the Alliance house to cheer for boyfriend Arslan Goni, and left fans buzzing over one loaded comment.

What Sussanne Khan Actually Said

Sussanne entered Prime Video’s Alliance for an emotional visit, sharing a viral hug-and-kiss moment with Arslan Goni. But it was her words to the contestants that sparked the real conversation. Praising the show’s popularity, she declared, “I must say the show is No. 1.” She then added she “wasn’t supposed to say” more — before admitting, “the other show is not that good as this.”

She didn’t name the rival show directly, but with Alliance and Netflix’s Lock Upp 2 frequently pitted against each other since both premiered, fans quickly connected the dots.

Why This Matters for the Alliance vs Lock Upp 2 Buzz

The rivalry between Alliance and Lock Upp 2 has been simmering online since both reality formats launched around the same time on competing platforms. A comment like Sussanne’s — even without naming names — adds fuel to an already active comparison among fans of Indian reality television, where audience loyalty often splits sharply between competing shows.

Arslan, for his part, appeared to enjoy the moment, jokingly echoing her line before she doubled down.
