The Caption That Said Everything

Lee Min Woo didn’t need many words. Alongside the series of warm, elegant pre-wedding photos — him in a neat tuxedo, Lee Ami in a beautiful white wedding dress — he wrote simply: “After a long journey, I finally found the one I want to spend my life with.”

For fans who have followed Lee Min Woo’s career and personal journey for nearly three decades, those words landed deeply. The man who danced his way into millions of hearts as Shinhwa’s most charismatic performer is finally stepping into married life — not rushed, not loud, just quietly and fully.

A Love Story With Heart and Depth

What makes Lee Min Woo and Lee Ami’s relationship genuinely touching is the openness and courage with which they approached it. Lee Ami is a third-generation Zainichi Korean — a Korean person raised in Japan — and a single mother already raising a six-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Lee Min Woo stepped into that life with open arms, and the couple registered their marriage last year.

Then, on December 9, 2025, Lee Ami gave birth to their daughter together — making Lee Min Woo the proud father of two girls. The family of four is now preparing to celebrate their formal wedding ceremony on March 29, 2026 — just a day after Lee Min Woo’s 47th birthday.

It’s the kind of love story that doesn’t need perfect circumstances — just two people choosing each other with full knowledge of who they are and what they’re walking into together.
