Sharp the Japanese smartphone manufacturer has launched a new smartphone called the Sharp AQUOS R6. The device offers some really cool features that can attract a lot of customers. The handset flaunts a 6.6 inch WUXGA + Pro IGZO OLED and comes with a screen resolution of 1,260 x 2,730 pixels.
It offers an astonishing refresh rate of 240 Hz and this could be a real trendsetter for the smartphone industry in the coming months. It has a peak brightness of 2000 nits and HDR support.
Without a surprise, the Sharp AQUOS R6 is powered by the strongest Android mobile Processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC and runs on Android 11. This chipset is coupled with 12 GB RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone is IPX8 rated which tells it is resistant to water and dust.
In terms of optics, Sharp has partnered with the famous German optics manufacturer Leica and has new things to offer. The primary rear camera with a 1-inch image CMOS sensor comes with approx 20.20 million pixels + ToF. The front camera is supported by a 12.6 MP lens. In fact, it has the world’s first 1-inch camera sensor. You will also get an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor to ensure better security as it supports a two-finger unlocking feature. This sensor is equipped with the fascinating “Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max”.
Apart from these, the camera system which is built with Leica’s support feature low-light autofocus. Not only optics and display but is strong in terms of power as well. The smartphone draws energy from a 5,000 mAh battery cell and is paired with an Intelligent Charge 2.0 support.
