Sony Entertainment Television most awaited reality show ‘Shark tank India’ will hit for the second season. The first promo has just been released. In his show, businessman spread their hands to people who have unique business ideas. After the controversy of Ashneer Grover, the most interesting question is who will be the upcoming sharks in this show.
The wait is over, in this show we will see ‘sharks’ Namita Thapar has Emcure pharmaceuticals, Aman Gupta has boAt, Vineeta Singh has Sugar, Anupam Mittal has Shaadi.com, and Peyush Bansal has Lenskart alongside newcomer Amit Jain from CarDekho.
The promo unveils some glimpses of the new season, having a pitch that attracted ‘the biggest offer on Shark Tank ever’, according to Anupam. The CEO & Co-Founder of carDekho Amit Jain has offered a couple of entrepreneurs Rs 5 crore for 5% equity. The entrepreneurs provide an ambulance service. Among them, one is speaking in Hindi, “Losing a loved one makes you wonder what you could have done to save them.” as they described the reason behind this start-up
The sharks confirm that they have raised a revenue of Rs 24 crore in the last year, with 24% profitability. “Then why have you come here,” Anupam asks them.
The first season of Shark Tank India became a hit runaway and gained a huge audience on streaming during this increasing Omicron wave of the coronavirus. This show made the ‘sharks’ overnight sensations and highlighted investing entrepreneur culture in India.
The new season was hinted at shortly after the first one concluded, but fans had been disappointed as Ashneer Grover will no longer be a part of Shark Tank, who emerged as a favorite among audiences due to his brash style. In an interview, he hinted at certain disagreements with the channel, when he said, “Afford Sirf paise se Nahi hota, aukaat se hota hai.”
Shark Tank India (Season 2): Release Date
Sony Entertainment has confirmed that the show will hit the new season on 2nd January 2022.
