Shaque: Trust No One Release Date — Everything About Parineeti Chopra’s Gripping Netflix Debut

A missing baby. Nine years of silence. And a mother who refuses to stop looking. Shaque: Trust No One just landed on Netflix, and it’s already being called one of the most emotionally charged Indian thrillers of the year — largely because it marks Parineeti Chopra’s first-ever web series role.

A Mother’s Search That Never Ended

Shaque: Trust No One follows Anvita, a mother whose newborn disappears from a hospital. For nine years, she refuses to give up — and every year, a disturbing birthday package arrives, keeping the case, and her hope, alive. When a new lead finally surfaces, Anvita is pulled deeper into a mystery that makes her question the people closest to her.

Created by Rensil D’Silva and Siddharth P. Malhotra, and directed by D’Silva, the series was originally titled Talaash: A Mother’s Search before Netflix quietly renamed it ahead of release. Set against an atmospheric backdrop, the show blends emotional family drama with slow-burn suspense — Netflix describes it as a story where nothing, and no one, is quite what it seems.

Why This Cast Matters?

Parineeti Chopra, known for Netflix hits like The Girl on the Train and Amar Singh Chamkila, steps into series territory for the first time — and she’s not doing it quietly. Jennifer Winget joins the ensemble in what’s also her first major project since marriage, adding significant television star power. Rounding out the cast are Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, and Sumeet Vyas, each bringing characters described by the creators as carrying their own secrets and shifting loyalties.
