Shakib Al Hasan reportedly appealed for an LBW and when the decision was not out, the senior player just lost his cool and kicked the stumps and then started arguing with the umpire.

If this was not enough he also got in a fight with the coach of the opposite side Khaled Mahmud who is also the director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board.

However, later on, the former Bangladesh captain apologized to everyone via Facebook and said “I am extremely sorry for losing my temper and ruining the match for everyone and especially those who are watching from home. An experienced player like me should not have reacted that way but sometimes against all odds it happens, unfortunately.”

This incident went viral all over the internet and some of the famous cricketers including Virender Sehwag and Lisa Sthalekar have reacted to this.

Shakib’s suspension has been confirmed by Mohameddan Sporting club and he is all set to miss the 8th,9th,10th and the 11th round of the ongoing tournament.

The former Bangladesh captain already landed in trouble in 2019 due to some corruption problems and has been banned for 2 years already.

The people of Bangladesh look up to him as a role model and would expect better behaviour from his side.
