SEVENTEEN’s Joshua Just Dropped a Surprise Comeback Teaser — And Fans Are Not Okay

Sometimes the best surprises come without warning. On September 20, 2026, SEVENTEEN member Joshua quietly unveiled a live clip teaser for a surprise digital single titled “Baby Come Home” — and Carats around the world are already losing it.

No lengthy promotional buildup, no weeks of speculation. Just a teaser, a release date, and the kind of quiet confidence only a seasoned idol can pull off.

What We Know So Far on SEVENTEEN?

Here’s a quick snapshot of everything confirmed about the release:

The digital album will feature both a Chinese version and an English version of the track, hinting at a release designed to connect with SEVENTEEN’s massive global fanbase rather than just the Korean market. That dual-language approach isn’t new for the group, but a solo single dropping this way — quietly, almost stealthily — feels distinctly personal for Joshua.

Why This Matters for Carats?

Joshua has always carried a reputation as SEVENTEEN’s calm, soulful vocalist — the member fans describe as effortlessly soothing. A solo single, especially one arriving without the usual promotional machinery, suggests something more intimate: a passion project rather than a scheduled comeback.

It also comes at an interesting time, right after fans have been following Joshua’s journey on “NANA TOUR with SEVENTEEN,” giving this release an emotional continuity that longtime fans will appreciate.

What to Expect Next?

With the teaser already live and the single dropping in just two days, expect:

• A full music video or lyric video around release time
• Streaming availability across major platforms globally
• Possible live performance stages in the following weeks

For now, all eyes are on September 22 at 1 p.m. KST.
