Why This Win Is Historic?

The headline is Song of the Year. BTS are the first K-pop group ever to win the category, which makes SWIM a landmark track in their catalogue.

Best Group was also a milestone. It was their fifth win in that category, after four straight wins from 2019 to 2022.

Through their agency BIGHIT MUSIC, the members thanked their fans for their constant love and support. They called ARIRANG a new beginning for the group, which made the awards feel even more meaningful.
