The Story So Far

A single kidnapping case unfolds across seven Asian cities at once. Seven people get different missions, and each must finish theirs before anyone else to save a loved one. Nobody knows who the mastermind is or why this is happening, which is where the fun begins.

Mystery 1: Who Are the Strange Visitors?

Odd figures appeared before the kidnappings, and they may be the key.

In Tokyo, detective Niide Toshiro (Kentaro Sakaguchi) meets a young man on the subway (Sho Kasamatsu). He raises the famous trolley dilemma, asks whether Niide would sacrifice five strangers to save his wife, and vanishes.

In Seoul, doctor Han Ki Joo (Lee Joon Gi) is haunted by guilt over a failed surgery involving his daughter. Funeral-company employee Park Dong Guk (Lee Seo Hwan) approaches him and seems to know far too much about his past.

Mystery 2: Why Do Red Roses Keep Showing Up?

A van from a flower shop called “Atra” and red roses keep appearing near crime scenes in different cities. Petals are left behind at each one, which suggests the crimes were planned in detail.

The creepiest moment comes when Han Ki Joo buys flowers for his daughter. A woman at the shop warns him that the game starts in five hours, and his daughter is taken soon after. Who is she, and how is she connected to the game?

Mystery 3: What Do the Seven Have in Common?

The missing loved ones are a wife, a daughter, a husband, two partners, a granddaughter and a mother. The participants include a detective, a doctor, a housewife, a flight attendant, a hostess, a taxi driver and a systems engineer. Nothing obviously links them, which is exactly why viewers are hunting for a hidden connection.
