Sennheiser has a popular lineup of earphones under its CX Series and now the company has added a new product under the same lineup, dubbed the Sennheiser CX Plus. They are touted to be the first TWS earphones in the CX Series to have noise cancellation.
The earbuds support SBC, AAC, and AptX Adaptive audio codecs. There’s also support for touch-based control as well as support for customizing EQ settings. This allows you to choose which ones control the audio, calls, and voice assistant.
It also comes with an intelligent smart pause feature that automatically pauses playback when you take the headphones out. The company also adds that both the left and right earbuds can be used individually. It also comes with active noise cancellation technology. This is an upgrade over some of its earlier models that only featured passive cancellation.
There is also an ambient sound mode or transparent hearing mode which uses their microphones to pass through audio from the outside world. It uses Sennheiser’s TrueResponse transducer, which apparently beings ‘audiophile technology’ to ‘everyday’ earbuds. The earphones are rated IPX4 for resistance to splashing water.
As for the battery life, it is claimed to provide a total of 24 hours of usage when the earbuds are topped up from the charging case.
The Sennheiser CX Plus will be available for purchase from the 28th of September in Black and White color options, for a price of 129.99 Pounds or 13,250 INR in the United Kingdom and $179.95(13,177 INR) in the USA.
