What’s the Story?
Second Case of Seetharam is a sequel to the 2021 film Seetharam Benoy Case No. 18. The story follows Inspector Seetharam as he investigates a case with his own reputation at stake — as middle-aged men with no apparent connection begin dying in his town.
A mortician eventually suggests the crimes could be the work of a serial offender, and Seetharam’s personal life — particularly his bond with his elder sister — runs parallel to the investigation, adding emotional depth to the narrative. pinkvilla
It’s the kind of layered crime thriller that works best when watched in one sitting — making its OTT arrival on Prime Video perfectly timed.
Haven’t Seen the First Film?
The original Seetharam Benoy Case No. 18 (2021) follows a principled sub-inspector transferred to a rural Shivamogga police station, where a series of calculated burglaries and violent incidents unfold — eventually tying into an unsolved mystery called “Case No. 18.” It’s worth watching before diving into the sequel.
