SEBI has extended a relaxation for IPO issuers. A SEBI letter to the Association of Investment Bankers of India dated 12 October 2026 extends the relief to IPOs opening on or before 31 March 2027, per IndiaIPO.

Market backdrop

This year there have been 102 mainboard IPOs and 183 SME IPOs, per Chittorgarh. Companies named as pending include Oravel Stays (Oyo), PhonePe, Carlsberg India, Avaada Electro and Paras Healthcare.

Why it matters
