Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Flip 7 FE Specs, Charging Leaked

Samsung has recently teased a short clip showing the silhouette of what appears to be a new foldable device, likely the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. This teaser strongly suggests that the launch of Samsung’s next-generation foldables is imminent. What’s interesting is that it appears the Korean tech company may not only launch two but three foldable smartphones this year.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE Appear on Certification; Specs, Charging, and Design Tipped

A Danish certification authority, UL Demko, listed a few model numbers, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, as well as what appears to be a new version, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The certification also indicates the charging details on these devices. UL Demko, known for certifying electronics for safety and CE compliance, has confirmed that all three foldables will support 25W fast charging (9V DC × 2.77A).

This matches earlier information from China’s 3C certification database, which revealed that Samsung would stick to the same charging speed as the previous generation of foldables. Each of the three models also recently appeared in BIS certification filings with their respective model numbers, strengthening speculation about their imminent launch. Samsung’s teaser video reveals a very slim foldable design, indicating that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 might feature a thinner profile, somewhat comparable to the OPPO Find N5.

According to the UL Demko listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could come with a 4,272mAh battery, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may include a 4,174mAh unit. It’s likely that the Flip 7 FE will share the same battery capacity as the Flip 7. In terms of performance, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip and feature an 8.2-inch primary display along with a 6.5-inch cover screen.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 might launch with Samsung’s yet-to-be-announced Exynos 2500 chip and could feature an edge-to-edge cover display. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is expected to use the Exynos 2400 chipset, which also powers the Galaxy S24 and S24+, likely to make it a more affordable option. All three foldables are expected to run on One UI 8, which will be based on the Android 16 operating system.
