Samsung Galaxy S25+ Expected to Retain Galaxy S24+ Battery Specs, No Upgrade in Sight

An additional battery leak has proven the existence of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus. Probably using the same battery as the S25, the business will power the S25 Plus. When competitors start thinking about 5500mAh and above in 2025, is 4900mAh sufficient?

Samsung Galaxy S25+ battery and rumored features

One possible battery type for the Galaxy S25 Plus is 4900mAh. There will be a 4,755mAh rated capacity in the S25+’s battery, according to GalaxyClub. Comparing the Plus model to the Galaxy S24 series, it appears that there has been no battery update this year.

A report from the Netherlands GalaxyClub, a site that focuses exclusively on Samsung products, claims that the Galaxy S25 Plus will have the same 4,755mAh rated battery capacity as the Galaxy S24 Plus. The Galaxy S25 Plus’s battery won’t get any bigger because Samsung plans to promote it as having a 4,900mAh capacity, similar to what they did with the S24 Plus.

One advantage is that if you’re happy with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus’s battery, you won’t experience a reduction in capacity.

The batteries for the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra are slated to be 4,000 mAh and 5,000 mAh, respectively. That is also the same as what their forebears did. Additionally, the charging rates won’t change: 25 W for standard models and 45 W for Plus and Ultra models.

The source had stated that the camera configurations of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will be the same as those of their predecessors, with the exception of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which will receive camera enhancements. Alongside a 200 MP primary camera, it will also have three other cameras: a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP 3x telephoto, and a 50 MP 5x telephoto.
