The wait is over! OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus 15R, a powerhouse device that redefines what “value flagship” means in 2025. Launching December 17th across India, Europe, and North America, this second member of the OnePlus 15 Series promises flagship performance without the premium price tag.
Design That Turns Heads
OnePlus is offering two stunning colorways that showcase distinct personalities:
| Colorway | Vibe | Perfect For |
|---|---|---|
| Charcoal Black | Stealth & sophistication | Professionals, minimalists |
| Mint Breeze | Fresh & vibrant | Trendsetters, style enthusiasts |
The design highlight? A camera module positioned at precisely 45 degrees from the top-left corner—an aesthetic choice that’s both bold and balanced. The flat metal mid-frame doesn’t just look premium; it feels premium in hand.
Durability That Survives Everything
Here’s where OnePlus 15R truly shines. It boasts the industry’s most complete durability ratings: IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. What does this mean in real life?
- IP66: Protected against powerful water jets
- IP68: Submersible in water up to 1.5 meters
- IP69: Withstands high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns
- IP69K: Ultimate protection against steam cleaning
Whether you’re caught in a monsoon, accidentally drop it in a pool, or face dusty construction sites, the OnePlus 15R handles it all. For durability comparisons with other flagships, check out our smartphone durability tests.
