All Samsung Galaxy S25 series models, including the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, may receive an Exynos SoC if the reports prove to be accurate; this will most likely be the Exynos 2500 SoC.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series rumored to launch with All-Exynos SoCs
Samsung’s future smartphone portfolio may undergo a major change, according to a new rumor. A leaker claims that Samsung’s Exynos chipsets, including the recently unveiled Exynos 2500, might power the whole Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, encompassing all variants across all territories.
Given how far away any of these devices are from launch, we advise you to proceed with extreme caution, particularly as this information hasn’t been “confirmed” by any other source—rumor or not.
The tipster discloses Samsung’s chipset plans for their phones from 2025. Accordingly, Exynos-only CPUs will be available for the Galaxy S-series. The low-cost Galaxy A-series will continue to use both the MediaTek and Exynos lines of chipsets, while the Samsung Galaxy Z series will only use Snapdragon CPUs.
Speaking especially of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, the speculated approach replaces the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 & Exynos 2400 SoC combination that the S24 series experienced last year. A year before, with the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung had switched to a Snapdragon-only chipset with both Snapdragon and Exynos SoCs.
Returning to the Samsung phones of 2025, it is unclear why the Galaxy Z series is the only one to receive chipsets made only of Snapdragon.
