With the trend going on to remove the 3.5mm jack in the flagship smartphones for making more space for greater hardware management, Samsung had also joined the crew by removing the headphone jack starting from the Samsung Galaxy S10 series last year. Now the company is again willing to add the 3.5mm headphone jack in the Galaxy S21 from next year.
A tipster @MauriQHD has tweeted claiming that Samsung will once again bring back the 3.5mm headphone jack in the Galaxy S21 series atleast for the next year. The company will be adding this in their next year flagship series starting from the Galaxy S21 series.
While there is no concrete evidence about this but the company will introduce it and will watch how much influence it will make in the market sales. At the time of removing the headphone jack Samsung received plenty of flak and now let’s see if the company again brings back the feature then it might grab more media attention.
According to the tipster, this experiment will result in a good lineup for Samsung but might generate less revenue compared to other flagship models which does not have the headphone jack. The addition of a seperate headphone might increase the some cost margin and will decrease the profit margin.
