Galaxy S21 FE passes CCC certification in China

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be revealed in August alongside its premium range of foldable devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The future of the device was uncertain until now, the device has passed the CCC certification established in China.

The Galaxy S21 FE will be specific to China and it will carry the model number SM-G9900. The listing of the device revealed some information about the device as well.

The Galaxy S21 FE will be a 5G device and it will come along with 25-watt fast charging that will be rendered possible via a compatible USB PD 3.0 charging adapter with PPS. It is still uncertain if the device will be shipped with this charger or if it will have to be purchased separately.

The Galaxy S21 FE will have a 6.5″ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution, HDR 10+, an in-built, under the display fingerprint reader, and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The device will run on Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100. It will feature a triple-camera setup on the rear with 2, 12MP sensors and an 8MP sensor along with an LED flash. It will have a 32MP front camera.

The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to come with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. It is not confirmed if it will feature a micro SD card slot or not.

The Galaxy S21 FE will most likely come with Android 11 based One UI 3.5, its IP rating is not yet known. Some of the other features include Samsung Pay 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port. It will feature a 4500mAh battery.

The Galaxy S21 FE is most likely to retail at KRW 700,000(45,900 INR). Reports of Samsung suspending the production of the device due to shortage of chips and parts were brushed aside by the Company.
