Samsung Galaxy F62 with Exynos 9825 confirmed to debut on February 15

Last year, Samsung had made the debut of its F-series of smartphones with the Galaxy F41. This phone has a quite decent camera module which is the highlight of this series as per Samsung. But what we’ve seen, the processor was not up to the mark. So, this time Samsung is set to launch the second device of the F-series named the Galaxy F62 with Exynos 9825 (a flagship chipset of a couple of years ago). As per reports, the Samsung Galaxy F62 will make its debut at 12 PM on February 15 via Flipkart. As the launch is pretty imminent, the design and specifications of this phone has already been revealed online. So, let’s get into those.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 will run the One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 OS and is powered by the Exynos 9825, a 7nm based chipset. Regarding the display, this phone is likely to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel having a punch-hole for carrying the front camera. Regarding the Exynos 9825, it performs slightly better than the Snapdragon 765G.

The SoC of this phone is said to be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Coming to the camera section, this phone will offer a square-shaped quad rear camera setup supported by an LED flash that includes a 64MP primary sensor. Despite of having AMOLED, this phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Regarding the battery, the Galaxy F62 definitely gets an upper hand as it is fueled by a gigantic 7,000mAH battery (charging speed not mentioned yet). The pricing of this phone has not been confirmed yet whereas it is rumored that this phone will carry a price tag of around under Rs 25,000 (~$343). All the mysteries will get solved on February 15 at 12 pm.
