Several live photos of the rumored Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have been uploaded by tipster Ice Universe on X (previously Twitter). According to the photos, the headset has undergone a design upgrade. Each earphone now has a stem rather than the pebble-shaped form of its predecessors. The new design makes it appear a lot like the AirPods Pro and other TWS headsets, according to several users’ comments on the page.

According to this latest rumor, the firm plans to release the Galaxy Buds 3 with a stem design instead of the in-ear form factor seen on the Galaxy Buds 2.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro rumored details

However, a US Reddit member asserts that he has acquired the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and has shared pictures of the device. The Pro variant’s stem design is also confirmed by these hands-on photos, which align with previous reports. The Pro version is said to have longer stems than the Galaxy Buds 3. In the meanwhile, it appears that the strips on the earphones are the ‘Blade Lights.'” Still, it’s not entirely clear what Blade Lights are.

With its stemmed structure, the box features a similar design update to the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro model. There was a white colorway of the Buds 3 with a black stripe running up the stem. Whether the strips contain LEDs is unknown.

The company’s bean-shaped headphones have had mediocre microphone performance ever since the Galaxy Buds+ were introduced in 2020. Given that the microphones are now located nearer to the user’s mouth in the new design, this should get better. The modification should allow the earphones additional internal room in addition to possibly improving call quality. More sensors, a more potent chipset, and a bigger battery might be added with this.

“Ultra High-Quality Sound” at 24-bits/96kHz was allegedly promised for the Pro model in a previous report. Additional features include ambient sound and ANC, according to reports. In addition, a 500mAh battery is allegedly supporting the charging cover of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
