Samsung Cancels Galaxy S23 FE in Favour of New Tri-Fold Foldable Phone, Rumor Suggests

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE may not be coming after all. According to a new rumor, Samsung has scrapped the idea of launching the device in favor of a new foldable phone. The upcoming phone is expected to feature a tri-fold display with a double-hinged foldable design. This new phone will be launched later this year, and it promises to offer users an even better experience than the Galaxy S23 FE.

Samsung previously unveiled a functional prototype of the upcoming tri-fold Galaxy phone. The business has been developing this technology for a while, and the upcoming product looks to be a game-changer for the smartphone market. Samsung isn’t currently working on the Galaxy S23 FE, said tipper Yogesh Brar in a tweet. Instead, a new iteration of the company’s Z series foldable phones is apparently in the works.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5, both of which will be available later this year, are anticipated to be part of the new series of foldable phones. The tri-fold phone’s double-folding design, which has a larger display than the Galaxy Z Fold 4, will probably seem like a tiny tablet when unfolded. It is difficult to produce a gadget with both inside and outward folding mechanics, thus the design will be a significant step forward for Samsung. Samsung has made some progress in this area and earlier this year at CES displayed a “Flex in and out” display platform prototype.

This move is a clear indication that Samsung is doubling down on its foldable phone strategy. The Galaxy S23 FE was expected to be a mid-range device with decent specs and features, but it seems like Samsung has decided to put all its resources into developing the new foldable phone. While the Galaxy S23 FE cancellation may disappoint some fans, the new foldable phone promises to be a much more exciting prospect for Samsung users.

The upcoming foldable phone will likely be powered by the latest hardware, and it will feature a number of software improvements to make the user experience even better. The phone is expected to be launched later this year, and we can’t wait to see what Samsung has in store for us. The company has been leading the charge in the foldable phone market, and it looks like they are not slowing down anytime soon. Samsung’s focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology is sure to keep them ahead of the competition.
