Samsung Electronics announced 15 C-Lab startups will showcase innovations in AI, robotics, and digital health at CES 2026 (January 6-9). The startups collectively earned 17 CES Innovation Awards, including two Best of Innovation honors.

Expanded Regional Innovation

Samsung’s C-Lab Outside program has expanded to Daegu, Gwangju, and Gyeongbuk province since 2023, strengthening regional startup ecosystems. The initiative has incubated 40 regional startups to date, allowing them to grow without relocating to Seoul.

Byoung Chul Lee, Vice President and Head of the Creativity & Innovation Center, stated: “Samsung supports C-Lab startups through CES as a platform to validate innovative technologies and build momentum for global growth. Expanded participation from regional startups highlights the continued evolution of the C-Lab ecosystem.”

Seven regional startups will participate at CES 2026—the largest presence ever:

  • Stress Solution (Gyeongbuk): AI-based personalized mental care sound creation
  • Deepscent (Gwangju): AI-powered digital scent solutions
  • Elevenliter (Daegu): AI diagnostics for progressive pet diseases
  • AunionAI (Gwangju): Automated multilingual dubbing and subtitles
  • Repla (Gyeongbuk): Enzyme-purified recycled plastic (CES Innovation Award winner)
  • Univa (Daegu): On-device multimodal large language model
  • 10kM.ai (Daegu): Enterprise AI video production platform

C-Lab Inside: AI-Driven Internal Ventures

Two AI-focused projects from Samsung’s internal venture program will debut:

ChronoMix: AI solution for object-centric video composition with advanced editing capabilities.

EZ Reco: Generative AI platform providing electronics recommendations based on expert knowledge.

Financial Sector Innovation

Four Samsung Financial C-Lab Outside startups will make their CES debut, expanding innovation across affiliates:

  • Selectstar (Samsung Life): Copyright-cleared datasets and AI evaluation platform
  • Datumo (Samsung Fire & Marine): Cyber risk modeling for financial impact quantification
  • WINNING.I (Samsung Card): Next-gen eKYC with simultaneous fingerprint and face biometrics
  • Pillsang (Samsung Securities): Real-time phishing detection using on-device AI

Award-Winning Excellence

MangoSlab and StudioLab—both C-Lab Inside spin-offs—received Best of Innovation Awards, affirming Samsung’s internal venture quality. The 17 total Innovation Awards demonstrate C-Lab’s technological excellence across diverse categories.
