Three Key Features Rolling Out

Memories (Early 2026): The flagship feature launches exclusively on Samsung TVs for six months, displaying curated stories organized by people, locations, and meaningful moments. This represents the first time such memories will appear on television screens.

Create with AI (Later 2026): Powered by Google DeepMind’s Nano Banana model, this feature offers themed templates for playful transformations. Users can utilize Remix to change art styles or convert photos to short videos, bringing still moments to life.

Personalized Results (Later 2026): Users can view related photos as slideshows based on topics like ocean, hiking, or specific locations such as Paris, making rediscovery effortless.

Seamless Integration

The setup process is straightforward—users simply sign in with their Google Account, and their photo library instantly appears on the TV. Google Photos will integrate with Samsung’s Vision AI Companion (VAC), surfacing through Daily+ and Daily Board to present memories throughout the day.

“Samsung TVs have always brought people together, and bringing Google Photos to the big screen makes that experience even more personal,” said Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President at Samsung Electronics.

This collaboration transforms personal photo libraries into immersive cinematic experiences, allowing families to rediscover cherished moments together in stunning detail from their living rooms.
