Salman Khan vs Arvind Swamy: “Monster” Just Went Into Its Biggest Action Schedule Yet

When two heavyweight actors go head-to-head on screen, it’s never just a scene — it’s an event. And that’s exactly what’s brewing on the sets of Salman Khan’s “Monster,” where Arvind Swamy has now joined for an intense 10-day Mumbai shoot packed with high-stakes action.

What’s Happening On Set?

According to exclusive details, Arvind Swamy — who plays the antagonist in the Vamshi Paidipally directorial — is currently filming key action portions opposite Salman Khan. The schedule is split into a 3-day joint shoot with Salman, followed by solo portions for Arvind’s character. Their equation in the film has been described as a tense “cat-and-mouse” dynamic, and right now, the team is mounting a massive train-based action sequence — one that’s reportedly being built on a grand scale with heavy choreography and planning behind it.

Monster: Overview

Why This Schedule Matters?

Sources close to the production reveal that this Mumbai leg is one of the most crucial parts of the shoot, with the team pouring significant effort into making the action visually striking. Salman Khan himself is said to be deeply involved in the process — closely working on the choreography and staying committed to giving “Monster” the theatrical scale the makers are aiming for.

With Arvind Swamy’s antagonist role adding real weight to the narrative, and Salman Khan headlining an ensemble that also includes Nayanthara, “Monster” is shaping up to be one of the bigger action tentpoles gearing up for an Eid 2027 release.

Conclusion

Big-budget actioners like this thrive on exactly this kind of buildup — new schedules, fresh faces joining the cast, and glimpses of massive set pieces in the works. If the train sequence lives up to the scale being described, it could become one of the film’s standout moments.
