Batting greats Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sehwag are among former cricketers of India who will return to the field for the Road Safety World Series in India next year. Many more legendary cricketers will join them to spread the awareness.
The World Series will be an annual Twenty20 tournament played between retired cricketers from five countries – Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and India.

Tendulkar the 46 years old veteran is the world’s leading scorer in Tests and o]ne-day internationals, amassing more than 34,000 runs and 100 centuries in a 24-year career that ended in 2013.
Tendulkar played for India for 24 years got the odi world cup in 2011.
In 2008, Tendulkar surpassed Lara’s record for most test runs with the West Indies left-hander having made 11,953 in the longest format of the game before retiring from international cricket in 2007.
Lara holds the record for the highest individual test score, his 400 not out against England in Antigua in 2004 is the most runs by a player in a single innings.
Sehwag has played 104 test matches in which he has scored 8586 international runs with 23 centuries and six 200+ score. His best score in test cricket ic 319. Sehwag has played 245 odis and scored 8273 runs with 15 centuries. Sehwag started his international career in 1999 and played till 2013.
