After completing their mandatory military service, BTS is doing what they do best — making ARMYs lose their minds. The teaser for Run BTS 2.0 just dropped, and honestly? The seven of them brainstorming ideas together again feels like a warm hug we didn’t know we needed.

What Is Run BTS 2.0?

Run BTS was BTS’s beloved long-running variety show on YouTube, where the members played games, completed missions, and gave fans unscripted, chaotic glimpses into their chemistry. The original wrapped up in 2022. Now, post-military and riding the massive wave of their new album ARIRANG — which just hit #1 on the Billboard 200 — the boys are back, and they’re revamping the format entirely.

Run BTS 2.0: Key Details at a Glance

Detail	Info
Show Name	Run! BTS 2.0
Premiere Date	April 7, 2026
Premiere Time	9:00 PM KST / 5:30 PM IST
Platform	YouTube (BANGTANTV)
Schedule	Every Tuesday
Members	RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook

What’s Happening in the Teaser?

The teaser kicks off with the slide: “The beginning of a way too invested contest” — which is peak BTS energy. Leader RM drives the conversation on why the show needs a proper revamp given how dramatically YouTube and variety trends have shifted since 2022.

The ideas thrown around are both hilarious and wholesome. Jimin suggests filming at RM’s new house (remember that New Year’s Eve livestream flex?). RM immediately calls it a disaster. SUGA floats the concept of members living each other’s lives for a day — with the deadpan caveat of whether everyone’s okay playing guitar for 8 hours straight. Jungkook, naturally, says yes without hesitation.

V’s military nickname — Mr. Foot V-olleyball — gets brought up too, and J-Hope pitches a “return to military” concept, which earns him the most Jin-stare of all time.

Why This Show Matters — Beyond the Fun

Run BTS has always been more than entertainment. It’s where fans see BTS without the stage polish — playful, messy, real. After years of solo projects and military gaps, watching all seven together again carries genuine emotional weight for ARMYs worldwide.
